April 12 - May 11, 2004
5/3/04 Brandon knows how to climb down stairs now. Actually, he slides backwards pretty quickly. Yesterday he waved
(bye bye) for the first time. We went to a neighbor's communion at a banquet hall and Brandon had a great time running
around the dance floor, and upstairs with another boy as they followed each other in and out of the other rooms. He
drank from a straw last week. He now loves to drink whole milk and eat mommy's cooking. His favorite food is anything
with cheese! Mac and Cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, and plain cheese. We went to the country house last week
and Brandon loved walking all around playing with a ball that rolled into the creek. He likes to blow on my stomach
and make the funny raspberry noise. He loves hiding from us and popping out when we say "Where's Brandon?" then
hiding again. When he hears music, he start moving his legs and dancing. He is learning to spin around.
When we go to put his socks on, he sits down for us. While putting one sock on, he puts the other sock on
top of the other one. Brandon loves going outside now. We live on a cul de sac and he loves to go into the
street and into the neighbor's yards! Joey, who is 10 months older, likes to play with him now. She takes his
hand and leads him places and wants him to follow her. We were planting flowers and using a little hand spade, and Brandon
took the other one and was putting it in the dirt! He loves being thrown in the air, and I put him on my knees
while I'm on my back and lift him up and down like a see saw and he loves that! if I lay down in the position, he'll
come plop himself on my feet!
