12/24/06 This year, Bob couldn't wait to surprise Brandon on the
night of Christmas eve. Bob had fond memories of being woken up by his parents who told him that Santa was putting presents
under the tree, and going out to sneak a peak at Santa. Bob bought a whole Santa suit and advised his nephew, James,
on what to do. He couldn't wait to see the look on Brandon's face and how excited he would be.
Earlier in the night, my sister in law, Janet, had
her annual Christmas eve party where Santa always comes and gives each child a present (the parents supply the present).

We didn't get home until after 10pm. Brandon fell asleep
fast. Then Bob's nephew (James) came and dressed up as Santa and Brandon was so zonked out. Bob took him out of
the room and had to hold his head up while Brandon was sleeping he was so tired!

..but then he said "sleep please, I'm tired". It was so funny that he was so tired
and didn't realize what was going on! While James was taking off his Santa suit, he said that maybe because Brandon
had seen Santa already at the party, it probably wasn't as much of an impact seeing him at our house. I think he was
just too tired because on Christmas morning, Brandon did come running into our room shouting "there are presents
under the tree!"
